This is my first review on Amazon but thought it was important to inform potential buyers of this product. We have purchased the Uberleben 6 oz kuksa cups and love them. We have also purchased the other Uberleben product available on Amazon and are very satisfied with them. We wanted a similar product but just larger. This product arrived today on time as Amazon promised. At first glance, it looked synthetic. Additionally, one had the Roman numeral 12 and the other did not. The engraving is important in order to secure a firm grip with the thumb. Pictures are attached. The engraving on the one is not deep enough to secure a firm grip when loaded. Some modifications will be needed. I have very large hands, 6’4” and find it a little difficult to hold even with the very small engraving and with the size not that bigger than the 6oz. The design would be great with the advertised engraving carved a little deeper. Overall, you just get size without any of the character and comfort of the 6oz cup. we like to finish our coffee and eat our breakfast out of the same cup. This product is not worth packing in our gear. The seller should have, at the very least, shipped 2 with the same engraving. Not doing so presented a very poor first impression. Hope this helps.
