Nothing like the real thing - strong chemical taste
With the insane prices on pure vanilla extract these days, I thought I would save a few bucks and try a imitation. This one was so highly rated, I though it would be a safe choice. HUGE MISTAKE. If you're used to pure vanilla, don't use this project. It has a pretty strong chemically taste, notable in a batch of cookies where I only used 1/2tsp.
