I really can understand where people would really like...enjoy this novel of short stories. Unfortunately and overall it didn’t resonate with me. The difficulty was trying to pinpoint and explain why I did not enjoy this book. It’s very well written. The imagery is exceptional. Each story has a captivating beginning that draws you in...but I’m my opinion there are no true conclusions. Not sure if that was intentional...or I just didn’t get it...or the author was simply leaving it up to the reader to imagine what happened. I kept hoping the next story would be wonderful. Never happened...not once. I guess if I had to summarize my apathetic opinion about the book it’s just that I was looking for definitive ending to each story. Sorry...and in “conclusion” almost like a break up line. It’s not you...it’s me.
