I was excited to get the MacBook Pro 15. For sure it will be better than the 13 and all those heat problems it had. I was shocked when playing a card game - yes a CARD GAME! caused it to overheat. Apple advertises it as a gaming laptop on their website. When the thing is so HOT you can't even touch it, it is clearly nothing more than a word processor. Want proof - download Hearthstone - a card game. Play ONE game. See hot incredibly hot it gets. it is irresponsible to make a claim that it can handle games when it over heats on a card game. There's no way you can put this on your lap when playing any kind of game. it gets WAY TOO HOT! Who cares what amazing speed components you put inside this thing - you can't use them. The heat is off the scale. I would not call this Macbook pro. that indicates to me that it's an amazing laptop that can handle anything you throw at it. There is NO WAY this thing can handle anything without over heating. Terrible! As I have said - if you buy this, go play a basic game. Don't get anything intensive - just something basic. When you feel the incredible heat generated - you will return it. I will say that I was SUPER disappointed it could not even handle a card game like Hearthstone.
