Didn’t work for me. I live in the PNW (Seattle) and bought this in hopes of scaring away the birds that chirp/caw at 4am and wake me up. For the first day or 2 it seemed to work, no chirping. Then one day I woke up to the chirping again and looked outside only to see the owl on the fence (where we put him) and the birds in the tree above him chirping away. We decided to move the owl into the tree to see if that would help. The next morning I woke up to a bird ruckus! I looked out the window and saw the owl laying face down on the ground with his beak broken off. I think the birds killed him. They knew he wasn’t real. They then proceeded to crap on his dead plastic body. So use at your own risk! It clearly does not work for all birds!
