Why bother reinventing the pizza wheel, so to speak? I had a regular Kitchen Aid pizza wheel cutter forever but lost it during a move. I decided to try something new and purchased this item. Wow is it awful. You will use this item to cut pizzas, and it does a very good job of that. But that's approximately 10% of the time you will be holding this item, and the other 90% of the time you will be attempting to safely disassemble, clean, and reassemble it. Those tasks take quite a bit of time and are often very dangerous given the objects you are handling (i.e. a super sharp metal disc clumsily encased in multiple pieces of plastic that snap on/off mere millimeters away from the sharp metal disc). You will find yourself cutting or nearly cutting your hand or fingers every time you open or close this item. My wife has disavowed it in our kitchen, and I finally relented and gave up despite not wanting to lose the investment. At some point you have to admit an item is a sunk cost, and this dangerous product is a nightmare until you let it sink to the bottom of the sea.
