After numerous phone calls to Frontier Communications regarding the dead battery in my FIOS box, it was easier to spend the money and replace it myself. Buying this from Frontier would have cost five times as much. Update 9/5/2017. This battery did not last a year. It was purchased in late September 2016 and by the end of August 2017, the warning alarm to "replace the battery" was sounding. While I thought it was a good fix initially, the original battery with my FIOS system lasted several years. This replacement didn't make it a year. The second battery did not last a year. I should have learned my lesson on the first one. This is junk. Do not buy. My second attempt was placed on September 5, 2017. It is now April 20th and this battery is shot. Don't waste your money. You are only getting 6-7 months from one of these batteries. Find another source as this is pure junk.
