Repackaged from 55-gallon drums from wherever
They claim it's 99.9% pure.
I called the company.
The woman who answered the phone confirmed that they don't have a web site. I asked what the 0.1% was. She said water. I asked apart from water, what were the impurities. She couldn't understand my question. I asked if they had a chemist I could talk with. She said no, they don't need a chemist. I asked if they distill the DMSO. She said, no, they buy it from a supplier in 55-gallon drums. Of course, she declined to name the supplier. She did say, though that it comes from plant sources in the USA.
I know a lot of people who sell and who use this company's products who should be shocked to learn that this source is merely a repackager and doesn't seem to have their product tested.
Given how important it is that DMSO be free of impurities, it seems clear to me that people should insist on more care than this company gives to the issue of purity.
Looking around, I found Jacob Labs, which does take a lot of care in the vetting of the DMSO that they sell. Their price is a lot higher, but I think it's worth it.
