I started to see my wild birds particularity the Gold Finches flying radically, and was able to walk right up and pick them up. The eyes were fogged over. I watch them try to dig under the edge of the metal to reach seeds and would scrap their eyes and lose head feathers. I have removed the feeder from my yard and will never use it again. Very sad.
