VERY DISAPPOINTED! As a Christian grandmother, I was looking for a good book full of Bible stories to read to my grandsons. The authors devote only a 2-page spread to each hero in their book. BUT they only have a two-sentence poem about each hero! That’s it, no more. For example, they include Daniel whose example of faith is extraordinary but this is all they write about him: “Pray to your God if respect is what you lack. The king threw him to the lions, as a tasty feline snack.” That’s all. If you’ve been raised with the Bible, you know the story but this sure limits the book’s impact with those who are new Christians. From the description on Amazon, I was expecting quite a bit more. Regrettably, I will be sending this book back.
