Y U DO DIS, AMAZON?
I tried to reload my Amazon.com gift card using a $50 AMEX gift card. Amazon kept declining the AMEX because they charge an initial $1 before processing the $50 (I guess to make sure the card is real). With this knowledge, I reloaded only $49 from the $50 gift card, and it worked. BUT Amazon kept my $1, and I can't figure out why. It is a dollar, but if I do this with a bunch of gift cards, it starts to add up. Why does Jeff Bezos need my dollars?
