Update 2: As I still had remaining time for 1 year warranty the manufacturer proudly boasts about, I contacted their customer service explaining the situation to see if I can receive replacement parts. It has been about a week and I have not heard back at all from them. Not even an automated response to tell me if anyone's on the case. Update: the back of the chair is completely bent and broken off. Now every time I try to lean the back of the chair literally flips. I would really recommend another product. The hinge connecting the bottom and back piece of the chair is built incredibly weak. I don't know if this is a problem with my batch or the entire product line, but when I lean back I can hear the connection cracking and my chair leaning back not from the pivot but from the upper back of the chair. For replacement I would need an entire back piece
