Installation is easy especially since it comes with the screwdrivers. It fits fine. Seemed to be working ok for several months, but then my trackpad started becoming hard to click. So I checked, and sure enough, the battery has swollen and is pressing against my trackpad which now is sticking up from the swollen battery (see pic; this occurred slowly over the course of months and is progressively getting worse). If I take the battery out, the trackpad clicks like normal, and with the battery in, it is very difficult to push. At this point, I can only click in one tiny spot on the entire track pad from the swelling. I emailed the seller because it was well within the warranty period. They initially asked for a picture of the battery, which was off putting because clearly that means they don't believe me. Instead of taking my computer apart (again--had just put it back together) just to for a picture that I don't think is even needed, I sent a screenshot of a warning message (see pic) on my mac saying that the battery needs to be serviced and asked if that would suffice. After not hearing back for several days, I asked them to respond ASAP because my ability to click is deteriorating and sent the pic of the trackpad sticking up. No response. Update: After writing this review, I received an email asking if I would like a replacement. I responded saying yes. However, the next day I received basically the same email as the first one. I responded yes, please send a replacement. Got another email the same as the first one. Again responded yes. No reply back from the seller. Finally emailed the seller directly (outside of replying to their emails). Then they said they would not replace it unless I remove this review, and that it is company policy to not allow refunds or exchanges unless negative reviews are removed. Well, the product is broken and under warranty, and the bad review is mostly because of the horrendous time I've had trying to return it. So, I am definitely not about to remove my negative review. Finally, I contacted Amazon to dispute this because it is ridiculous that they would not honor the product warranty because I am leaving a bad review.
