So far (about 1 month of use) I'm liking these very much. I have to carry 3 or 4 of them joined together to get to the far reaches of the newly planted trees, so weight was a big issue with traditional type hoses. I also can compare them to the green as-seen-on-TV inflatable fabric hose -- the one with the orange plastic fittings. This Teknor brand is far superior. The hose doesn't go flying like a sputtering snake when you open the water spigot. The cheaper brand really needs a yard stake to hold it in place if you're not wanting to babysit it. Plus you can get more water flowing through the Teknor hoses. END OF SUMMER REVIEW: Changing from 5 stars to 1 star. I bought about 6 of these last summer 'cause I was so happy with their light weight. Half of them have sprung major leaks in various places ... sometimes near the fitting, sometimes in the middle of the length of hose. I was just googling to see if there's a way to repair this type of hose. So far no luck. They also 'kink' big time, although it's more a case of them tieing themselves in knots as you pull out the length of hose, even if you carefully coiled it on the ground after useing.
