These sheets feel wonderful for the first week or so but very rapidly deteriorate upon contact with any degree of rough/dry skin or the slightest presence of whiskers - on any body part. The sheets were removed from the bed, washed, and dried once/week. At the end of the first week, it was becoming apparent which of us slept on which side of the bed and who used which pillow. By 8 weeks, even my husband with alopecia (medically caused no hair) on his legs had quite a bit of roughness on his side of the bed, down in the leg area. His pillowcase was so rough as to be unusable. Mine wasn't much better, but that, I suppose, was because we have a farm and even though I use gloves and LOTS of lotion every day, my hands are still a little on the rough side in a couple of places and I sleep with them under the pillow. That was enough to turn my pillowcase into a rough uncomfortable disaster. I will NOT be putting these back on the bed and I can't imagine the local thrift store being able to sell them so the only thing I can think of using them for at this point is to cut them into strips to hang around the chicken yard to help dissuade areal predators as they flap in the breeze. I suppose that maybe if you have super soft smooth skin and sleep in pajamas and socks, and use depilatory rather than razors, then these sheets might be a good purchase. Otherwise, don't waste your money.
