Update: Amazon removed my last update because they obviously didn’t want customers seeing the poor customer service I received from Amazon. Skilsaw stepped up and sent me a new saw. Not sure the top is flat yet, but at least they are trying to stand by their product. Amazon just wanted me to take a refund while their supervisors just kept making empty promises. Original post: I was really looking forward to getting this saw for my workshop. I’ve been doing a LOT of researching and finally decided it could be the best available worksite saw out there. Although I haven’t even been able to turn the stinking thing on once. I’m only giving it a 1 star rating because out of the box during the setup/check process as per the manual, I noticed that the saw top wasn’t even level across the entire surface. When placing my combo square on the top it “teetered” when laid from the top near the blade toward each outside corner, in both directions. I called Skilsaw who just passed the buck to Amazon. While I know Amazon sold it.... they didn’t manufacture it.... it’s a Skilsaw tablesaw, and I would expect Skilsaw to make this right and send me a new saw to swap which hopefully is built properly. Unfortunately, I need to wait until Amazon gets more in stock. So much for Skilsaw’s “Stay True” 180 day guarantee .... they didn’t even honor it. They just passed the buck.
