I have loved this tea kettle and it sits out on my stove top most of the time. However, I noticed flakes of something in my tea the other day. Once I checked out the inside of my kettle I found this line of rust at the bottom seam. I called customer service as I have only had this kettle for 6 months (shipped April 9, 2018 and today is October 23, 2018) and was told they don't cover rust in their limited warranty. That stinks for me. I let the nice customer service agent know that I would be writing my review (she was very nice on the phone, just nothing she could do to help me). Bye bye Cuisinart!
