★☆☆☆☆
Almost useless
This sleek looking device may appeal to those who place more value on kitchen feng shui than efficacy. I'm a semi-professional athlete, and I couldn't rev this thing up to enough RPM's to shed water from a greased zucchini. (That's a joke, so don't tell me that the spinner wasn't designed for zucchini. Stuff just lays in the center at max speed rather than being pinned to the sides by centrifugal force. If the salad doesn't get pinned to the sides, how on earth can you expect the water to spin off? Another thing -- if you look at the display pictures, the first picture shows the basket brimming with greens. False advertising! The spinner drops way into the center of the basket, so if you fill the basket more than half way in the center, the spinner will pin it down, preventing the basket from spinning freely. This product definitely does not deliver, but your dinner guests will cast admiring glances at the spinner and tell you how pretty it looks. The good news is that if you leave the damp greens in the bowl long enough after spinning, enough water will drain off by gravity to allow them to air dry.
