Bought this for my new mattress after having a bed bug situation. I didn’t even take the plastic off the mattress until this was delivered so I know I didn’t transfer any bugs. A year later, we have another bug problem and once I upzipped this cover, I discovered one corner INSIDE completely covered in evidence of bed bugs living inside there. So it didn’t keep them out. They found a way in. So I didn’t even bother washing it. I threw it away and bought a different brand to see if it works better.
