I purchased this twice. Once for my iPhone, and for my daughters' iPad mini's. When my daughter lost hers, we purchased another one 3 months later. It worked great... until just now. My daughter went to pick up her iPad after it had been charging for 2 hours, and noticed that the casing around the pin part of the cord was melted! I can only imagine what would have happened had she been charging it over night. This is a fire hazard. I've contacted Amazon to use the warranty, and instead of that, they will just refund my money. I suggest if you plan on purchasing something like this for your iProducts, to purchase them directly from Apple and pay that extra $15.
