Disappointed
This product definitely blocks out light. But do not put it on any window that gets direct sunlight for any significant length of time. One of my bedroom windows absorbed so much heat that it spontaneously cracked one day. It was not even very warm out either (78F). There is no impact from being hit. Our window guy told us that films like this do that when exposed to a lot of heat or long periods of direct sunlight. He said that the crack pattern is definitely a heat stress fracture to the glass. So the price was right for the film. The $400 to replace the window is upsetting to say the least. I work nights at the hospital and really hoped this would be my ticket to a good days sleep. Save your money and buy blackout curtains like I should have from the start.
