After reading all the good reviews, I decided to buy this mat/cushion for my tub, but was disappointed once I received the product. Everything that all of the other people giving 1 and 2 star reviews say are spot on - the suction cups don't secure the mat to the bottom of the bathtub, no matter how hard you try, so the mat slides around the bottom of the tub everytime you try to shift positions. I was also disappointed with the comfort factor. At most, you're sitting on about 1/4 inch of padding. There's a zig zag quilting pattern sewed into the mat that further reduces the padding. It's certainly softer that the bottom of the tub, but I felt that at this price point, there should have been thicker padding. Finally, I was a little turned off by the price. I paid $49.95 for the mat, which the seller decided to jack up to $54.95 by the time I received it. Honestly, if I had seen this in a store, I wouldn't pay more that $29.99 for it, and at the seller's current price of $54.95, I wouldn't have bought it at all. The quality just isn't there to justify the price. If it were thicker and actually stuck to the tub as designed, then maybe it would be worth the $49.95 I paid.
