Too !@#$% small!
The minute I took this thing out of the box, I knew it was useless; it doesn't matter whether it works or not, it's too small to use! What am I supposed to do with it, steam a radish? I didn't even try it, just returned it. I knew there might be problems with this thing, because it's one of those things advertised on TV, and some of the previous reviews said it didn't work well; but I thought I'd take a chance. The idea of something you can put in the microwave, cook some veggies or an omelet or something, then eat out of it and put in the dishwasher, all sounds like a great idea--but it has to be in a certain size range, small enough to go in the microwave but big enough so you can actually cook something :-| When you see it on TV, there's nothing in the picture to give the scale. You see it has a handle, you assume the handle is hand-sized, and then if the bowl is proportionate, it's going to be a reasonable size where you could make, for example a three-egg omelet, a bowl of soup, or one or two servings of fish or veg. In fact, it's no more than four inches in diameter, two inches deep; it's doll-sized! You might make a one-egg omelet, that's about it. It's too small to bother with. I can't fathom why they would do this, or why some of the other reviewers didn't mention this.
