I don't normally go the extra mile of writing a review, either positive or negative, unless I am amazingly impressed beyond all expectations, or outraged by the poor quality of the product. These chairs are advertised to be able to hold 500 lbs. For the record, that is greater than a 100 lbs more than what I need it for. Before buying these chairs, I had bought some fairly cheap folding chairs from Walmart that claimed to hold 300 lbs. I used these chairs for about 3 years without problem. One of them finally gave in and broke, and the other one likewise started to show signs it was about to give up the ghost... so, being that I was about to go on a week long camping trip, I thought I should buy a new folding chair, one that was heavier duty. When I saw these chairs, claiming a capacity of 500 lbs, and for a good price, I jumped on it. A computer glitch caused the company to send me 2 chairs. I was prepared to go ahead an pay for the second chair if they were as good as they claimed. Within 24 hours of my camping trip, one of the chairs broke. Within 3 days, the second chair broke. The tags say don't use on uneven ground. LOL yeah... these are meant to be used on the ground, and for camping, etc. All ground is at least somewhat uneven. Even so, I was careful that all 4 legs set as evenly as possible. Still, the chairs broke. They both broke the same way, in the same spot, in the upper left hand corner toward the front where your knee would be. The plastic thing with the cheap tin looking pegs, bent, then broke. The chairs both broke even though I was more than 100 lbs under its max weight. The crappy Walmart chairs that shouldn't have held me, held me for 3 years. Come on people! Poor product, unless you are down closer to 200 lbs.
