They must have changed these. The size of the bottom box has changed - it has been made shorter in height and slightly shorter in length. So now the lid sits on the CD cases instead of on the storage box. If you stack these, you are going to put a lot of pressure on the CD cases. It is obvious they made the bottom part smaller - probably to save a few pennies on each one. But now the product is no good. The double wide CD case is the correct height and the lid fits fine. I like the double one. Hopefully they don't have plans to change that one too.
