I love the idea. Received and assembled my FitDesk (Carton number 73) last Thursday (6/11/13). It was very quiet indeed for first hour or so. Then it started producing clicking noises. I am writing this review in the middle of my workout because I couldn't stand it any longer. The clicking noise (sounds like bad ball-bearings) is very loud and annoying. It makes it impossible to concentrate while working or even watching a movie. Will be contacting FitDesk customer service seeking resolution shortly. --- UPDATE 7/14/13 I sent an email to customer service. Received a reply within 12 hours (5:25am on Sunday!) saying they will be shipping me a pre-tested replacement frame on Monday and I won't need to send anything back. +1 star for customer service! Will update my review as things progress. Meanwhile, we are happily using the bike for exercise while it's hot outside. Riding the bike wile working or watching a movie makes working out pleasant and even unnoticeable at times. As I said before, the idea is great, and once the other kinks will work out I will be a happy camper. --- UPDATE 7/22/13 Received the replacement. Set it up. The mechanism is whisper-quiet. I am waiting to put a few more miles on it to make sure, but so far I am very happy with the result! Five stars for great product and customer service. I will post update if anything changes. --- UPDATE 11/24/13 So it sat in the corner for 4 months because I'm a lazy bum. Today I got up, determined to get a good workout. 40 minutes into it, familiar clicking returned with a vengeance. So "the new vendor" has the same production issues as the old vendor. I now plan to get rid of this thing on Craig's list.
