First, no way those are Kolinsky sable hair. Even the package does not say so. In a hindsight seems obvious: no way Kolinsky would cost $15 for 6, but for some reason it is marked as "Amazon choice for Kolinsky sable watercolor brushes". Somehow I thought Amazon would not endorse an obvious fraud, but apparently I was mistaken. Overall, bad brushes: they shed a lot, they do not hold the point, and they do not have enough spring. For this price, I'd better buy a synthetic sable, which is simply better.
