★☆☆☆☆
Poorly written, poorly reasoned
A poorly written and even more poorly reasoned attempt to defend the destruction and theft of other people's property. It can be summed up thus: "I want looting to be ok, so I'll justify destroying things or stealing them by saying other people have done it before now." While attempting to claim looting somehow 'smashes white supremacy', Osterweil completely ignores that most looting destroys neighborhood businesses and livelihoods and hurts the PoC she claims to represent. Her ivory tower defense of tactics that hurt the poor and the marginalized is disgusting, immoral, and just plain stupid.
