From one crab lover to another, look elsewhere
Bought this for a surprise anniversary dinner, and boy did I regret it. I spent the first 25 years of my life in Alaska and know what quality (or even mediocre) crab tastes like and this was not it. The crab we received was partially unfrozen and freezer burnt to boot. I steamed it, however the freezer burnt taste was still very much there which also made the texture less than desirable. I would like to point out, if the crab we had received was NOT freezer burnt when it arrived, it may have tasted better. Either way, for $40/pound (including shipping) I expected much more. Get your money worth by avoiding this and going to a local seafood market to pick out some high quality fresh/frozen lobster.
I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because it was delivered on time and the legs were the described size (~1/2lb). Although the bag was already partially unfrozen.
