Useless if it gets wet!
I was really excited to get this hat as we live in Dubai and from Spring to Summer its 100F - 120F out. The hat fells nice and light weight and I was most excited about the part to cover the back of my sons neck and ears. Unfortunately the hat did not live up to the expectation... as soon as it got wet the first time he wore it the brim collapsed and would no longer stay up. We spent the rest of the afternoon messing with the hat so he could see while still being protected from the sun as we did not have another with us. Despite being marketed as a swim hat its useless unless you can keep it 100% dry.
