8 months later....
Updating this review as it has been just over a year since we purchased and it is now a useless piece of junk. I LOVED this product at first. I have a Great Pyrenees who sheds ALL THE TIME. Vacuuming was a pain in the butt and sweeping was the best way for me to pick up all her fur but constantly bending over to use a dustpan was back breaking and always left a small line of debris which irritated me. This eyevac was the perfect two in one. A stationary vacuum that I could sweep every nook and cranny and have it sucked up. There are two settings: manual and auto. To activate the manual you push a button with your foot and the machine turns on. To activate the auto you simply sweep towards the machine and the sensor will kick on the machine and work it’s magic. About 6 months in, the manual mode stopped working. I’m not sure if the wire broke or what but now there’s a useless button. Which was fine because I still had auto. Except about 4 weeks later the sensor started to go bad. Meaning I would have to manually activate the sensor with my hand, and it would turn on but now it takes even longer and I end up spending several minutes trying to activate the damn sensor. At this point I just gotta go back to broom and dustpan. I wish I could return this but I’m way past that window.
