***UPDATE*** I wore these boots for almost 6 hours straight today, and the back of my ankle never hurt so bad in my life! I cringed every time I had to walk a long distance because of the pain. If I could return these, I would in a second as I need a comfortable boot I can wear for hours on end and not have any issues. They may be warm, but they are not worth the pain. I don't review many things I buy, but since I read so many reviews on these before purchasing I figure I should give my review. I wear an 8.5M, and ordered a 9M. They are the exact fit that I would expect. There is some wiggle room, and wish I would've/could've went with an 8.5M. I bought these for warmth and little fashion. I live in the country in North Dakota. I need warmth on my feet when I am out. I was nervous about these boots, so I wore them only in the house with the tags on them for the longest time to make sure I really like them. From reading others reviews, I was aware you can only return if they are in brand new condition. I finally removed the tags and decided to bite the bullet. I love these boots. I will be outside deep in the snow, and my feet have never yet got even a bit chilly while wearing only regular socks. I mark it at 4 stars as there are 3 things that drive me absolutely crazy about these boots. Number one, the boot straps to pull these boots on are only on there for fashion. No other reason. These boots should have boot straps to pull them on. Number two, you have to loosen every boot string to even think about getting your foot in or out. I have narrow feet and this drives me crazy. If you do not loosen the straps extremely loose, the boot insert will start to come out. I'm not sure if the inserts can even come all the way out, but it's annoying to take your foot out and have the insert come with it. You wonder why I would keep these with 3 negatives? They truly are the warmest boots I've ever owned, and I've had several different brands. Once they are on, you are golden. If I had to take these off and on several times a day, they would not be the boot for me. I just came in from being outside for 3 hours in the North Dakota snowy winter, and my feet are perfect while my ears are still warming up.
