I have been a huge fan of these slippers for about 10 years but I'm dismayed at this latest pair. The reason I loved them (and replaced them every 18 months) is the deep, spongy padding that helps with my bursitis and plantar fasciaitis. So I was very surprised and disappointed when I put the new ones on and found there was much less padding in the footbed. Really minimal and it makes the bones in my feet hurt similar to just wearing socks on my wood floors. What's up with Acorn? Did they start cutting corners on the main feature that made it worth spending $30 for slippers? Anyone else noticed this?
