I was very excited on receiving this product. Beautiful packaging and a nice purple hue to the cacao powder. I have tried probably twenty types of cacao powder over the years and this looked very promising. I make a cocoa for my morning drink instead of coffee or tea as I feel those agitate my nerves. I am always able to drink the cocoa on an empty stomach no problem. For some reason this cacao powder makes my stomach hurt and I simply don't feel good like I normally would after a cup of hot cacao. I am not able to return the product unfortunately. Update. Tried it again a week later and it feels like mini razor blades in my stomach and kidneys. It probably has high levels of cadmium as no cacao powderhas done this.
