Rare Smurf Eggs? Hold your purchase!
I thought smurf eggs were consumed to extinction, but this seems not to be the case! No, but really, why the abhorrent amount of blue dye? Just try to compare some of the black eggs on the back of the filter. And yes, these are normally black.
I spent a bunch of time attempting to filter out the excessive dye with a coffee filter, and afterward, my eggs were still blatantly blue. If you guys could just not add any dye, that would be ideal. The purpose of dye is to make food more appealing and the dyes in this food is making me wonder if it's even safe to consume. I also lost about 1/6 of the caviar in this process.
The flavor is good, the price is amazing, but then there's a concerning amount of dye. I was consuming the caviar for health purposes, but until the blue dye issue is amended, I cannot purchase more. This is disappointing as I love Season's sardines, but this makes me wonder if they have a quality control department whatsoever.
Please, get rid of your dyes, there is no benefit especially in the quantity presented. I am far from the only one with this issue; listen to your costumers. Maybe sell a version that is free of all the aesthetic additives for those concerned about their health.
