I purchased this cane for my 93 year old mother. She has other canes with the fairly large four prong feet, which strike obstacles because of their wide stance. The Hurry Cane is okay as long as you use it. The company does over-emphasize this cane's ability to stand alone. This cane needs to be on a absolutely flat, hard surface to remain upright on its own. Even then, a breeze would knock it over. My mother spends most of her time picking up this cane off the floor and now it's more frustrating than useful.
