Buyer Beware! Really disappointed in the durability. I have treated these very carefully, never over-tightening, always hand washing and letting air dry before storing away, yet they both still appeared with cracks. Right after I reported to the seller that my first press appeared with cracks on it next to the bolt (within the first 9 months of owning it), they sent a replacement, and I was happy about that. Unfortunately though, now this second unit is cracked, even worse than the first one, within a matter of a couple months. I used to recommend these to everyone, because I loved the functionality, but I can no longer recommend these and funnel customers towards these in good conscience. I have reached out to their Customer Service several times in the last week and have received NO reply, so I will find a better press with more responsive Customer Support to try out and to promote on my food/cooking posts. Really disappointed!
