Covered in mold within 2 weeks of opening
Bought these vanilla beans a little over a month ago, opened the package two weeks ago to use a couple of beans and sealed the rest up. Today I opened the package to use the rest to make extract and there was mold all over them. Not sure if the mold bloomed just since the package was opened, or it was there the whole time, but in either case there shouldn't be any mold within two weeks of being opened.
