Full disclosure, I probably should have done some more research on this pan before I bought it but I saw Stainless, Roaster, riveted handles and I figured it would work. I was wrong. This pan is a single ply stainless pan. It isn't much more substantial than a heavy duty one-time use aluminum pan you can get from the grocery store. Sure it will cook a turkey or a roast but about all it will do is give you handles to take the item in and out of the oven and stop juices from running everywhere. One thing that isn't clear in the product description is the bottom of the pan is not flat. There is a raised ridge in the center and this is problematic for me. I planned on using this to braise or sear items on my flattop electric stove before putting them in the oven. You can't do that with this pan. It also has a 500 degree limit for the pan which can also cause problems when cooking on high heat or gas.
