★☆☆☆☆
I thought I was getting contemporary fiction
When I get my Kindle First book each month, I try to get something I wouldn't ordinarily read, because I've found some real gems and great new authors I hadn't known about before. Unfortunately, with this one all I got was some soft-core porn, and characters that seemed like they never grew emotionally past high school. This makes the many flashbacks especially confusing, because I wasn't always sure of the time setting. The plot, such as it is, is all secondary to the relationships everybody is or is not having. Leave out the sex, and it would be a YA romance. I'm glad I didn't have to pay for this book.
