Total Hardware Failure - Not Built To Last
I had big hopes when I bought this scale, but from the very beginning it never worked right. The function where it's meant to record your weight and body fat over WiFi is buggy at best. But that's not the big problem, at least I was able to weigh myself. After less than a year, the scale stopped working entirely, so I can't even weigh myself any more. When I step on the scale, all I get is a message that says "HW Fault 895" (Hardware Fault). After several months of the scale not working at all, I contacted Withings, but they would not offer to exchange the scale for a working one as I missed their 1-year warranty cut-off. You would think a $100 scale would last at least a year, but not this one. I certainly would not recommend buying anything from Withings, and don't imagine the company will be in business much longer if this is typical. And yes, I see it's time to trim my toe nails.
