So I ordered the 18000 BTU unit. Price seemed great especially since it is a Diken. I was very surprised by how fast it got to me ( i expected it to arrive later the following week). So a few days later it was time to install since I had poured a concrete base for it. As I began unpacking the unit I observed the insulated coil was not as the picture and the listing had stated. I also noticed there was no installation package(pass-thru support, drain hose, tape, and anything else that was in the picture/listing). The problem with the insulated hose was it had to be flared and was ten feet longer than was advertised. So at this point, I sent the seller a message(So I ordered the heat pump system 18,000 BTU with an installation kit. Nowhere on the Amazon listing does it mention having to braze the line. The pictures also show's the refrigerant lines already have the flared ends for easy installation. Besides those issues, I am missing the extended drain line, the pass-thru wall protector, and extra wrap as shown in the picture of the installation parts. Please help with these issues as I was all set to start installing it today.). And here's there response: (Please note on the listing we do not control those photos. This is NOT a DIY install therefore we do not carry the line with flared ends as it will void your warranty and we also send 25ft instead of 15ft since it's never recommended to use a line set that short. We would be glad to send you a drain line or we can simply provide a $30 refund and you can obtain all of those items locally as it's pvc, we do not carry those small items. Please let us know how you would like to proceed. Thank you for your business. ). So at this point I'm not happy and contact Amazon support. They also observed the sellers listing which stated it would include the correct components and not so off-brand. Not long after I received a phone call reiterating the above message and for my trouble, they would refund me an amount to purchase a kit that was compatible. Being that I needed to get this kit installed I opted to take the refund and order the correct installation kit. So if you are reading this, just realize you will not receive anything in the pictures or the listing as it has been written. You will receive a generic line kit and the actual A/C unit (inside and outside units). Once I receive the new line kit I will update the listing as to its performance. Hopefully, this will help someone in their decision. P.S I should have gone with the Mr. Cool unit as it does include everything to install.
