This baby formula and ALL Gerber formula contains maltodextrin! Maltodextrin is usually made with corn, rice, or potato. While the label says non-gmo I do not believe this is true because corn and oil ingredients do not say organic? I’m thinking NOT non-GMO! Additionally maltodextrin, like most carbohydrates, is high on the glycemic index—-meaning it causes spikes in insulin. Gerber is supposed to be a brand to trust and this formula cause my baby to become extremely fussy. Once I change to happy baby organic formula all the symptoms went away! I will not buy any Gerber products anymore since learning about their carelessness in ingredients especially when it is for babies!!
