Let me first start off with how awful this machine really is. If you want this machine to just mix up your dough then it is fine. However if you use the dough function #8 and want it to mix your dough and make it rise by heating it up a bit as this function is intended to do then this is not for you. The heating element does not get hot enough to activate the yeast. I am used to using a T-Fal machine when when you make dough you make dough!! I had my T-Fal for 8 years and the mixing bowl went bad and bought this machine. I have to admit though this was far cheaper than T-Fal. So in the end i guess i got what i paid for then? My next step is to pony up the cash to buy a T-Fal again as this is going back. I have been making home made bread "Dutch Over Style" in the oven and this machine is worthless to make good dough for that......................WORTHLESS. After the cycle ended after 1 1/2 hours and 5 different try's i had flat dough every time. The must have in the settings not to heat it up or something because in my T-Fal if i made dough the same way the lid was exploding! Total waste of time and cash. When i say worthless i mean worthless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
