No great at all!!.. No twists or infusions of recipes other than giving them new headliner names. As a veteran cook and avid dungeoner i was so hoping to love this cookbook and couldnt wait to see new & exciting recipe or at least a creative culinary twist to make old recipies new. All i found was recipies like Dwarven Corned beef & Cabbage or Meat pies using the same recipie & ingredients that has always been used since Gary Gygax was born. So little creativity went into these dishes makes me wonder if they even used a real chef or if the writer has been mind flayed! If i had hellped create this there would have been recipies included such as a Ogre Chicken Stew, a Troll Crunch Salmon, a Kobold Kippers Krunchy hush , Orche Slime Jellied thankful dessert,, aFrost giant Jarls winter iceed white peppermint & fire coco with many more. so un imaginative i am sending my book back
