Helps me practice stoicism
Whenever I am having a really good day and feel too overcome with life's beauty, I remedy my over-optimism by trying to remove a few clean lengths of 3M Scotch tape without random terrible tears. Nope.
Every time I try, I am reminded of the futility of all things, the absence of perfection of the world, and I am forced to recall that life is a barren field of frustration, devoid of joy. Helps keep it humble. Thanks 3M.
