This was a great blow dryer. It was quiet and did a nice job of drying hair without making it frizzy. The unit has a design flaw though. The cord protector (that is supposed to prevent excessive cord wear) is made out of too stiff of a material and it actually makes the cord wear worse. The stiff material cut through the cord and shorted out the dryer while it was being used. Sparks shot out and the cord actually caught on fire. It looks like there is a newer version of this dryer out now with a re-designed cord thing at the base so that might be a safer option. I would avoid this one.
