If I could give zero stars I would. There should be a giant red warning to say not to use this on a painted steel door. I did a test first and had no issues removing it from the door after 1 hour. But after 2 weeks, the backing completely adhered to the paint and left the mess shown in the picture. After 4 hours of scraping and repeatedly soaking with mineral spirits, denatured alcohol, goo be gone, etc, the adhesive came off but only because the paint came off too. Now I have to re-prime and paint my steel door. Such a disaster!
