I'm so glad I read this before giving it to my daughter (age 8). As other reviewers stated, she's comfortable with her body and I think some of the questions in this book might start to CAUSE insecurities. For example " I think I look fat. I know I'm not, but can't help feeling this way and hating the way I look. I'm miserable. Some days I don't even want to be seen...." Girls this age are picking up clues all around them on how to think and feel about themselves and this is NOT the message that I want to send my daughter. So very disappointed in this book.
