Started shredding plastic into my sewing machine - INTO MY SEWING MACHINE - while I was using it for it's intended purpose - feeding fabric into the presser foot. I WORK as a clothier and seamstress. I'm not an idiot about sewing machines or sewing tools. The internet has been raving about this thing so I bought one to use as a stiletto. Buy a metal sewing stiletto instead. I honestly don't know how this company has not gotten sued for destroying someone's machine. If a standard (Singer) presser foot can shred plastic off of it, I am at a loss as to how there are not many more complaints. I don't shy away from one star reviews when I come across a dishonest item description but this item description is completely honest. It's just a crummy product. If it were metal it would have been a dream tool. Not angry, just disappointed..
